Carmine has approximately twenty-two years of experience in taxation in the areas of C and S corporations, partnerships and individual taxation including high-net worth individuals. In 2007, Carmine joined RBSM LLP as a senior manager responsible for the oversight of the Firm’s tax compliance function and tax research. Prior to joining RBSM LLP, Carmine worked for large publically traded corporations in the financial services (brokerage and banking) and manufacturing industries and most recently in a mid-sized New York public accounting firm.
Recent Services Rendered:
- Effectively administered tax audits for clients. Successfully developed working relationships with auditors resulting in effective, expeditious negotiations while minimizing audit fees.
- Provided critical analysis on the tax aspects of a corporate acquisition. Coordinated effective sales tax planning and compliance by identifying potential exposure and negotiating these issues with third party advisors.
- Assisted client on FASB 109 disclosure. Coordinated footnote modifications and guidance to client internal accountants.
- Providing asset administration services to an elderly client including the compiling of data to assess investment quality and the liquidation of real property investments.
